Acid Rain | Experimental

Leigh Schilling

Acid Rain is a dark and dreamlike exploration of the intersection of man and nature, expressing the damage that each inflicts upon the other as a symptom of a titanic struggle between two opposing forces which are both equally capable of creation and destruction.

Drawing on elements from both the Constructivist and Surrealist movements of the 20th century, the short experimental film portrays the urban environment as a battleground between human technology and natural cycles and processes, such as growth and decay and the weather.
