The Blind Waltz | Experimental

Sebastian Eklund

The idea behind this experimental short film initially came from the thought of windows in a high-rise, lighting up after sunset, creating small openings into everyday life. Everyone was plodding along and everyone was alive and thinking. Even when we know someone well, we can only really see the tiny windows of that person. The rest, we invent ourselves as we try to get closer, dancing with each other. It is a quiet and fragmental look at loneliness.

The film is shot using only an iPhone 4s as camera.
